Crystal Chavez / Staff Writer According to DMC Student Government Association (SGA) members, a tuition increase of $62 for 12 credit hours was passed for fall of 2013, DMC Provost Fernando Figeroa met with SGA officers on February 18 to discuss a possible tuition increase and SGA Treasurer Blanca S. Canales attended the February 19 DMC Board of Regents meeting during which the increases were discussed.
Rey Castillo / Staff Writer The DMC Alert system was created to give students important information 24 hours a day, seven days a week about important developments and emergencies on campus. In the event of a campus emergency or an important event, college officials will use DMCAlert to get information out quickly. When a message is sent, DMCAlert will use all communication methods on file with the system to reach students and employees.
