DMC sees recent enrollment boost

This year 10,746 students are enrolled, or about 200 more than last year, according to unofficial figures. Official enrollment numbers will be available after the 12th day of class. On Feb. 6 the Student Government Association held a meeting in the Harvin Center where Professor Bob Long, then head of the Faculty Council, presented a Faculty Council resolution on a smoke-free campus. New Veterans Center added

Comfortable space offered to those who served By Amy Foster / Reporter The Del Mar College Veterans Services Office’s motto is, “Proudly Serving Those Who Served with Pride!” Del Mar took one more step toward achieving this objective this semester with the opening of an additional Veterans Center on the East Campus in the Harvin Center, Room 207. The Veterans Center is equipped with a lounge area, study area, mini-kitchen and several computers with full ADA accessibility to veterans and active duty students. I met with the guys of Resz at drummer Phillip Hand’s girlfriend’s house.
