Amber Quaid / Managing editor The fourth annual 5K Run Amuck mud run is set for Sept. 27 in Corpus Christi. The event challenges participants with an array of muddy and wet obstacles, including the Army mud crawl, sewer pipe challenge and a puddle run while being sprayed with water. Awards will be given for the top three individuals in all age groups (there is a kids 1K mud run for the little ones) and for best overall, best couple and best group costumes. The tournament took place Sept. 10 in the Kinesiology Building on East Campus. Just three teams signed up: The Vikings, Auto Bots and Team Lockdown were all ready to go head to head for the trophy.
