Del Mar receives donation to help aviation program The donation of a half-million dollar plane could be the ticket to more hands-on training for Del Mar’s aviation maintenance students. Rockport native Toby Knocke flew the Dassault Falcon 10 to Corpus Christi International Airport on Aug. 21 to donate to the college’s aviation program. It will be housed at the program’s hangar at the airport. Architecture program plans design challenge
The Architecture and Drafting Technologies Program faculty at Del Mar will be kicking off the 2015 Student Design Charrette competition with their annual Halloween lecture at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in Wolfe Recital Hall located on the East Campus. The lecture will cover the common styles of architecture in the United States, dating all the way back to colonization and moving into the modern era. A variety of haunted houses will also be presented, accompanied by the spooky stories and legends that go along with them.
