Future nurses showcase student health fair

Level one nursing students at Del Mar College’s Nurse Education Department presented what they have learned throughout the fall semester by showcasing numerous health-related issues and their resolutions with a student health fair in the Harvin Center on the East Campus. It’s called the Success Center for a reason

For many students at Del Mar College, there are numerous re- sources for academic growth and development for almost every subject. Help is always available on campus for any problems or concerns that a student may have. Two such resources are the Stone Writing Center in the White Library, dedicated to providing students with help in English courses, and the math center in the Coles Classroom building for those seeking extra clarification. Lab focuses on mathematics, macroeconomics

Students seeking extra help outside of the classroom in their math courses can now attend the brand new math and macroeconomics tutoring center located in Room 310 of the Venters Building on East Campus. The tutoring center, deemed “The Collaboratory,” will feature free student-assisted help from five tutors, with two specializing in mathematics material and the other three specializing in macroeconomics. All tutors are properly trained and qualified to ensure students are receiving the best help possible for successful academic achievements. ‘Noises Off’ to hit Finley Theatre

Comedy lovers can find fun and entertainment this month at the live stage play of “Noises Off!” at Del Mar College’s Finley Theatre. Brought to life by some of Del Mar’s most talented actors and ac- tresses, “Noises Off!” is a moody, in- tricate, comedic play that is within another dramatic play. Opening night is 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13, with other shows planned for the same time on Nov. 14 and Nov. 19-21.
