Putting the culture back into agriculture, the Klepacs, a Robstown family, hope to start a new tradition with their Rockin’ K Corn Maze and outdoor fun this fall. Located just outside of Robstown, the family friendly event features a 6-acre corn maze, games for kids and more. The family came up with their maze idea after hours of brainstorming. “Trying to narrow it down to one idea is the hard part for us,” Rachelle Klepac said. Ride in Theater presents screening of “Short Circuit”

Johnny 5 comes back to life this month at the Corpus Christi Ride-In Theater’s screening of “Short Circuit.” The classic 1986 film, which features actors Steve Guttenberg and Ally Sheedy, will screen at the Watergardens on Sept. 12 to close out the Port of Corpus Christi’s Summer Movie Series partnership with Ride-In. The film follows Number 5, a military robot who, after being experimented on, experiences an unexpected transformation when struck by lightning.
