Review: ‘Taken 2’ tries too hard

The film is directed by Olivier Megaton, and written by the writers of the first movie – Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The first movie was a fan favorite and propelled Liam Neeson to action star status.

Review: ‘Looper’ doesn’t connect

The movie is written and directed by Rian Johnson, and has been getting great reviews from critics. It currently holds a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and has been named one of the best films of the year. Unfortunately, it is to be brought to everyone’s attention that this movie, although boasting a fresh storyline and great acting, does not live up to the hype.

The Cirque Du Soleil returns to Corpus with Dralion

Unveiling Wonderland’s Secrets

For those unfamiliar with burlesque, burlesque dancing is a comedic and theatrical performance performed by women in minimal clothing. Corpus Christi Mermaids play hard

Devin Tyler/Staff Reporter DMC student Brittany Fowler can often be spotted on West Campus in a tank top on the way to her EMT class, but off campus she’s trading her tank top for football pads and a helmet. Fowler is attending Del Mar to earn her Paramedic Certification, just recently completed the Firefighter Academy and in May, Fowler joined the first Corpus Christi women’s full-contact football team, CC Mermaids. “I love sports, I’ve been involved with sports all my life,” Fowler said.
