Our Staff

I've been with the Foghorn since Spring of 2024 as a reporter, as of Fall 2024 I became the Associate Online Editor. Now as of the Fall 2025 I am currently the Editor-In-Chief. I'm a digital media major and plan to pursue my degree further. One thing I love about journalism is how much it's allowed me to come out of my shell and be able to talk to more people for stories and to grow connections. Outside of being on the Foghorn, I like to spend time with my family, play videos games and build legos.

This is my second semester with the Foghorn and my first semester as online editor. Outside of the newspaper I enjoy thrifting. One thing I enjoy about journalism is connecting with our local community and giving them the opportunity to share their stories.

I began my journey with the Foghorn Newspaper as a reporter, driven by a passion for storytelling and a never ending curiosity about people’s true intentions. Over time, I worked my way up to Editor-in-Chief, and now I serve as Managing Editor while currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree. My love for journalism was inspired by the fearless, bold and unfiltered writing of Hunter S. Thompson, and that same curiosity continues to drive me every day. Outside the newsroom, I enjoy reading, writing, movies, music, photography, and shooting pool when I can.

This is my first semester on the Foghorn, and I'm Asst. Sports Editor. I've been doing journalism (high school, collegiate) for about 5 years now. I love to read, listen to music, and scrapbook! I love how straightforward journalism is. In true journalism, there's no dodging or beating around the bush. Everything is given straight, and I find that really refreshing.

I love writing, designing, and editing, so I'm happy I can o it all at the Foghorn as Design Editor! As a baby journalist, I've enjoyed engaging in the community, from local and global issues to exciting events, and earning something new every day. Besides that I like horror movies, perfumery, rock shows, and reading (for fun, I swear).

This is my first year on the Foghorn newspaper staff. My role in the student newspaper is Photo Editor, which is great because one of my hobbies is photography. I enjoy the vast communication that comes with journalism, that you maybe otherwise wouldn't get in your day to day life.
