Regents prepare a resolution of censure against Watts
The Del Mar College Board of Regents voted 8-0 to prepare a resolution of censure against regent Guy Watts during a special called meeting March 22. Watts was not present for the meeting. The board voted to approve the investigation into Watts’ ethical practices during its Feb. 9 meeting. Independent investigator Cobby Caputo was present for the called meeting to report his findings. Caputo investigated Watts to determine if he had violated provisions to the Board of Regents Bylaws. Math lab for more than math majors

Del Mar College makes it a goal to give everyone the opportunity to make the best grade possible. One resource is the Math Learning Center, where students can receive assistance in classes including Remedial Math, Algebra, Calculus I, Calculus II, Physics and Chemistry. Halloween showing of ‘Halloween’
Ian Bomba / Reporter For all campus fans of horror movies, there will be a showing of the original “Halloween” at 2 p.m. Thursday in the White Library, Room 530. The showing will be presented by Veronica Pantoja, assistant professor of English, as part of the library’s Curricular Enrichment Film Series. Pantoja, a self-described “avid zombie and horror enthusiast,” teaches a 1302 themed English class based around the horror genre, called “Vampires, Monsters and Madmen.” This will be the fourth year doing a movie showing on Halloween night.
