Escape room proves difficult for editors
Trying to disarm a nuclear bomb early in the morning is a great way to wake up your brain. Foghorn editors John Oliva, Jose Alonzo, Gabriella Ybarra and Sam Gutierrez started off walking up the long ramp in the freezing cold to start our adventure at Corpus Christi’s newest escape room. The Lexington Museum on the Bay employee had us fill out policy and waiver forms before we watched a safety video about what to expect. TACHE chapter serves support
As the sun rose on Feb. 10, a group of 12 volunteers from the Del Mar College chapter of the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education arrived at the Ronald McDonald House on Fort Worth Street to prepare and serve breakfast to the families staying at the facility. The Del Mar College TACHE chapter has worked with Ronald McDonald House at least once each semester since 2014.
