French night on campus
Jennifer Gracia Yuliya Kruchkova, a French language professor at Del Mar hosts a French Night in the Foreign Language Lab located in the Coles Building Wednesday evening. Kruchkova introduces a “camara obscura” to students and speaks about shadows and imagery. “This was used as a form of entertainment in France, a long time ago.” Students brought different French themed foods, from croissants, French bread and international cheeses to celebrate French Night. “We like to introduce different cultures to students here at that Foreign Language lab.” Said Professor Javier Morin.
