Del Mar College Curricular Enrichment is screening free films for students every Friday this semester. The films are chosen by the professors of the film appreciation classes.

Each film relates to the time period it is being shown. For example, from mid-September to mid-October, Hispanic films were shown for Hispanic Heritage Month. To celebrate Halloween, “The Devil’s Backbone” will be shown on Oct. 30. The staff tries to focus on films that are fun, educational and interesting.

The films are shown at 2 p.m. every Friday (except the Thanksgiving holiday) until Dec. 4 in Room 530 of the White Library. A list of the different showings is posted throughout campus, at the front desk in the White Library and can be found at www.delmar.edu.
