The Disability Services Office recognized seven staff and faculty members as the 2015 DisAbility Advocates of the Year on Oct. 23 in the Harvin Center.
Disability Awareness Month seeks to empower those with vary- ing abilities through information and resource acquisition to over- come barriers. The month celebrates diversity and strives to rebuild an integrated community in which all people are equally valued.
