  Contributed photo Financial Aid Services will host its third annual Mardi Gras Bash from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 9 on the second floor of the Harvin Center. The event will include bead throwing, king cake, prizes, New Orleans-style music and more. It also will be a great chance to get all your financial aid questions answered. The Mardi Gras Bash serves as a great opportunity to se- cure your summer and fall financial aid and gather information on applying for scholarships for the 2016-17 academic year.

I understood the importance of my existence,” Reuven said of Operation Entebbe, in which Israeli forces freed a plane full of hostages four decades ago. Rilwan Sanusi / Reporter Del Mar College students have had a mostly positive reaction to the new RTA bus schedule, which was changed last spring. While routes used to include stops every 30 minutes, several, including those that hit East Campus, now arrive every 15 minutes. Joshua Guajardo, a 25-year-old Del Mar College student, has been riding the bus for two years. The changes have made his trip to and from campus much easier and quicker, he said.
