Ultimate Frisbee tourney soars
ccarrillo@foghornnews.com With table tennis, a 5K fun run and an intense Ultimate Frisbee tournament, the past two weeks have been busy for Del Mar College Intramurals. Ultimate Frisbee was played in the gymnasium from Oct. 10-19. On the last day, the players were divided up into four teams and then competed for a spot in the finals. Dozens of colleges at Transfer Day
Graduation might seem far away but in reality, it’s waiting just around the corner. Transfer Day at Del Mar College aimed to prepare students for that next turn by allowing representatives from colleges to station themselves in the Harvin Center on Oct. 13 and talk to students about transferring. Dozens of colleges were present at the event, including Texas A&M, the University of Houston, Texas State University and many more. One of the colleges present was the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
