Power of prayer can help overcome many difficulties

Psalms 28:7 NLT says: “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”

For those who feel weak and weary about the past, present and future, you are not alone. There are people all around that are going through different seasons. In times of struggle and in trial, many people share similar experiences.

No matter what it is, healing from a toxic relationship, healing from the loss of a loved one, healing from a broken past, God knows and hears your cry for help.

It may be difficult to talk about your struggles with your parents, friends and family, but talking about them to God and asking him for peace and cleanliness of the mind is what God wants you to do. He wants you to go to him for your worries. He wants you to bring your broken heart because he is the only one that could mend those broken pieces together. “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” Psalms 147:3 NLT.

It’s not easy. Holding everything in only makes things harder and longer for you to heal. It may seem like forgetting and sweeping your problems under the rug is the easy way out but it’s not.

James 5:16 NLT says: “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” Don’t be afraid to be open about your problems. Don’t be afraid to ask for others to pray for you in your time of healing. There is great power in prayer that other people are very gifted in.

Time does heal many wounds but you must allow all your wounds to be healed. God does not want us to live in suffering. There will still be time when the enemy tries to take you down, but humble yourself and fight through it.
