Del Mar College libraries will see a change in their hours of operation during Spring Break. The William F. White Library, on East Campus, will be closed March 14-15 and March 18-19. Del Mar College will host its annual Transfer Day College Fair on Oct. 8. The event, from 9-11 a.m. in the Harvin Center on East Campus, is expected to draw dozes of colleges and universities. Representatives will be available to talk with students about their transfer options. Sara King, Del Mar’s coordinator of recruitment, said 33 of the schools are in Texas, both public and private, and three offer primarily online programs. “Nine out of 10 arts and science majors transfer to a university” after Del Mar, King said.
