Spirit Day sets up campus showdown

Calling all Vikings to come out and show your school spirit and your school colors. The East Campus versus the West Campus soon will meet in a faculty showdown. Spirit Day will be the kickoff to the infamous Viking Bowl on Nov. 20. The faculty will compete for the win and bragging rights in flag football. At 12:30 p.m. Oct. 30 in the Gymnasium on East Campus will be the official kickoff for Del Mar’s campaign. The campaign helps raise money for scholarships. As a college student, you might hit a couple of bumps down the road. Whether it is with a professor, a staff member or maybe even a grade you think you do not deserve, you have somewhere to turn. You can get help resolving your issue by making an appointment with Cheryl Garner, dean of Student Engagement and Retention, at 698-1277.
