The popular book series-turned movie phenomenon “The Hunger Games” dominated the show with a total of five awards including Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Face of Heroism for female lead Jennifer Lawrence and Favorite Movie Franchise.

Review: ‘Taken 2’ tries too hard

The film is directed by Olivier Megaton, and written by the writers of the first movie – Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The first movie was a fan favorite and propelled Liam Neeson to action star status.

Review: ‘Looper’ doesn’t connect

The movie is written and directed by Rian Johnson, and has been getting great reviews from critics. It currently holds a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and has been named one of the best films of the year. Unfortunately, it is to be brought to everyone’s attention that this movie, although boasting a fresh storyline and great acting, does not live up to the hype.
