As finals are approaching at Del Mar College, students may find themselves overwhelmed in their courses. However, the Math Learning Center is always open to assisting all students, not just math majors, free of charge. The Math Learning Center offers a wide variety of resources to students including handouts, TSI preparation, textbooks, calculators, computers, printers, Wi-Fi, and so much more. Electrical infrastructure issues were traced back to where the old English building used to be, which led to workers rerouting the infrastructure. “There were unforeseen underground conditions with piping for stormwater sanitary sewers, and electrical IT infrastructure,” said Michael Armbruster, project manager of Bartlett Cocke & Beecroft. Faculty finds fire system alarming

It’s because for several weeks, the fire alarm system has been offline. According to Robert Duffie, director of Physical Facilities, the fire alarm system is still functioning, but it is not being monitored by the monitoring company. “It is an older 1980s system for which parts are no longer available,” Duffie said. $7 fee helps fund wealth of activites
