SEMMO to host social media seminar

But a group on campus can help get people up to speed. “Google with the Geeks,” a free training seminar presented by Science, Engineering and Math Majors Registered Student Organization (SEMMO) will take place in the Venters Business Building (corner of Ayers and Edwards Street)  from 9 a.m. to noon, Feb. 16. Looking back on Black History Month

Samantha Huerta / Staff writer February is the month of remembrance, celebration and historical meaning to many African Americans here in Corpus Christi and nationally. What used to be recognized for only one week, Black History Month was expanded to the full month when Gerald Ford asked fellow Americans to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history,” according to the history.com site.
