Students who may not be able to return for the fall semester can receive 100 percent of their tuition refunded. Del Mar College will also be offering eight-week sessions that will start later in the semester. Railway comedy delivered nonstop laughs on-stage Del Mar’s Fall production, “Twentieth Century,” was the Drama Department’s masterful undertaking at whisking its audience to a Depression-era setting, while also displaying what travel was like aboard the famous Twentieth Century express train. The play, an adaptation of a script written by Ben Hecht and Charles McArthur, concluded its run at the Finley Theatre on Nov. 17. If you’re looking for basic car maintenance on a budget, Del Mar College’s Automotive Department offers a low-cost alternative. When cars are brought in, automotive students can use their lab time to assist in car maintenance and build their skills under supervision of their instructors. Car maintenance services can be provided to Del Mar College students, faculty and staff. Duane Beadle, an automotive professor, said that to get started with a diagnostic test, the price is $75 for every client. The client has to buy their own parts for services, but labor is free.
