The Walt Disney Co. recently opened applications for its spring 2024 college internship at Walt Disney World.
Lasting until early November, current and recently graduated college students can apply for the Disney College Program, an on-site program that gives students a chance to branch out and gain priceless job experience.
The program can last anywhere from 12 weeks to six months with opportunities to extend further. It also offers a wide variety of potential job locations and roles from attractions at Magic Kingdom to concierge at one of the many resorts around the theme parks. While working for Disney you get access to many different benefits too such as discounts to resorts and food and free admission to the parks.
While the College Program offers great work experience and opportunity, it is also a great way to meet new people and network.
“The opportunities it opened were countless. It starts off with growth in the company then opens a lot of doors to stay with the company and grow even more,” said Nick McCabe, a DCP alumnus and current cast member.
Participants will have the opportunity to stay at Flamingo Crossings Village, a gated community complex 15 minutes away from Walt Disney World and run by Disney staff and American Campus Communities. Both the East and West complexes come fully furnished and have extensive amenities such as fully furnished gyms, multiple pools, sport fields and more. Transportation is provided to participants at all potential work locations and local grocery stores.
There are a few requirements to apply. Students must be at least 18 years old at the time of applying, must be enrolled and currently taking classes or have graduated within 24 months of applying, and must have completed at least one semester of college by the time of program arrival.
