The libraries at DMC are a wonderful resource for students, conveniently open 83.5 hours per week. This Thanksgiving, hours will be modified to allow the libraries to be closed a little bit more over the holiday weekend, according to Sally Bickley, interim director of learning resources.

Traditionally, the libraries are closed the Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week and open on Saturday; for the White Library, Sunday as well. However, this year, the libraries will close at 5 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. on Nov. 25, and will be closed on Nov. 28, as those times and dates have seen very few students in the past, Bickley said.
“The White Library will be open on Nov. 29 from noon to 8 p.m. for students preparing for the last week of the semester,” Bickley said. The Barth Learning Resources Center on the West Campus will hold the same hours as the White Library on East Campus.
