Nearly 700 students are expected to receive diplomas during Del Mar College’s Spring 2016 Commencement ceremony, to be held at 7 p.m. May 13 in Exhibit Hall A at the American Bank Center.
All participants are required to participate in rehearsal, set for noon on May 13. Graduates must arrive by 5:45 p.m. for the ceremony and must be wearing proper regalia.
Tickets are not required for guests and seating is not reserved. Guests should bring money for parking and should refrain from bringing tripods, air horns, flowers or outside refreshments.
All attendees, including graduates, must abide by the American Bank Center bag policy, which prohibits bags such as large purses, backpacks, containers and camera bags from entering the building. Bottles, weapons, noisemakers and video equipment are also prohibited.
The ceremony will be streamed live at www.delmar.edu/webcasts. The link will be available 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will also air live on Channel 19.
