If you pick up the latest issue of the Foghorn, you can cut out the ballot and and fill out who you think will win! The deadline to enter is Feb 23 at 5 pm and the top three winners will win a $10 gift card for campus dining.
(note: the ballot must be from the physical paper. It won’t hurt you to read some articles too.)
Alcorta’s Compania De Danza Folklorica brought the vibrant traditions of Mexico to life at DMC’s Richardson Auditorium on May 03. With the auditorium nearly packed, audiences were treated to a mesmerizing display of classic folklorico dances. From the colorful costumes to the energetic footwork, Alcorta’s transported everyone on a cultural journey through Mexico’s rich heritage. It was a night filled with joy, passion, and the celebration of Mexican culture.
Ever heard of Valdar’s Market? This on-campus food pantry provides eligible Del Mar College students with access to various food and hygiene products. The food items provided for the students are there to allow students to make a meal with or just go in to grab some snacks. The food pantry doesn’t just offer food, but also provides personal hygiene products such as deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, shower gels, razors, dental floss, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, nail clippers, antibacterial ointment and first-aid products.
