Food pantry stocks up

The Student Government Association last fall proposed a food pantry for students who struggle with hunger and food insecurity. The pantry, in Room 122 of the Harvin Center, had its grand opening on April 18. “I think it’s a God-blessed gift. I’ve see students in tears and get frustrated because they are working on an empty stomach. I can see this help increase better grades,” said liberal arts major Ricardo Hernandez.
