Precautions for Spring Break: Don’t drink and drive

Sara Riojas / Staff writer The Corpus Christi Police Department plans to continue safe Spring Break practices for the upcoming Spring Break holiday. The efforts made last year resulted in a low number of arrests for drunk driving. Tubas, baritones and more!

The annual Tuba Christmas Concert promises to be an afternoon of breathtaking holiday music performed by musicians in the Corpus Christi area. The concert will be conducted by Dan T. Sipes of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi as well as Jeff Stone of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The concert will take place at noon Dec. 18 in the lobby of Plains Capital Bank, 500 N. Shoreline Blvd. Admission is free, and free parking will be available at A&M-CC as well as on the street at Plains Capital Bank.
