Movie releases of 2024 are much anticipated, especially since many movies and TV shows were put on hold due to the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strike. Since Hollywood is no longer on hold, we can look forward to new releases all year.
As an avid moviegoer, 2023 seemed to be the year that brought people back into the movie theaters, thanks largely to “Super Mario Bros.,” “Barbie” and Oppenheimer.
According to a survey by Fandango, it seems that people will continue to visit the movie theatres because 81% voted “more excited to go to the movies in 2024 than in 2023.”
The same survey also listed the Top 10 Most Anticipated 2024 Movies, which are as follows:

‘DUNE: PART TWO’ (MARCH 1)
The second part of the sci-fi saga book adaptation. The hero, Paul Atriedes, is on a journey to avenge his family and bring order to the planet of Arrakis.
‘VENOM 3’ (NOV. 8)
This will likely be the conclusion of Tom Hardy’s trilogy.
‘DESPICABLE ME 4’ (JULY 3)
Those lovable yellow minions are back to serve evil with their supervillain leader, Gru.
‘INSIDE OUT 2’ (JUNE 14)
Pixar’s “Inside Out” follows the emotions that make up Riley’s mind. The sequel introduces new emotions as Riley enters her teenage years.
