Vikings had the opportunity to create their own career vision board on Feb 8 in the Harvin Center on Heritage Campus. The event was hosted by Center for Career Development, who provided all the craft materials as well as snacks, coffee, and music.
Vision boards are a popular way of putting your dreams on paper. By creating a physical representation of your goals and aspirations, you will have a constant reminder of what you are working towards in academics, in your career, or just life in general.
Emily Longoria with the Center for Career Development said the office hopes to host another vision board event toward the end of the semester, focusing on students preparing to graduate and planning their next steps after they walk the stage.
