The sixth edition of the South Texas Underground Film Festival will bring short and feature films from across the globe to the Coastal Bend. Cassidy’s plans big block party for St. Patrick’s Day

By Kira Hays / Reporter Keeping the St. Patrick’s Day tradition alive, Cassidy’s Irish Pub co-owner Michael Treiber is pulling out all the stops for this year’s Cassidy’s St. Patrick’s Day Block Festival. “It all started because, on St. Patrick’s Day, the pub would be at max capacity at 5 p.m. and we had to turn a lot of people away,” Treiber said. “That’s when I decided we needed to expand.
