Greetings! Having been a volunteer at various organizations practically my entire life, it feels only natural to start a blog about it. This week, the spotlight is on the Gulf Coast Humane Society. They are the local no-kill animal shelter, but without help, they cannot stay a no-kill shelter. The animals they save are not responsible for their circumstances, but certainly have to pay the price of those circumstances. Can they count on you to help?

DMC is hosting its first Pink Swap this October to raise awareness for breast cancer. Students, faculty, and staff can participate at the dining areas of each campus simply by bringing anything pink.
