DMC Vocal Vikings bring home bronze from nationals

Members of the Vocal Vikings, the Del Mar College speech team, brought home two Bronze Sweepstakes honors at the Phi Rho Pi National Speech Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Vocal Vikings won Bronze Sweepstakes in Debate and Bronze Sweepstakes for Overall Competition in the small school division during the event held March 31 through April 6. The Overall Competition ranking is based on all rankings from all of the preliminary rounds combined with individual events plus debate. Public transport brings together all sorts of people

Corpus Christi is quite the large city, and as with most big cities, public transportation is a requirement. For cheap public transportation, Corpus Christi offers the CCRTA bus system. Founded in 1985, it has continued to evolve over the years, resulting in a large web of interconnecting bus routes and benches. Most people can ride the bus about $1.75.
