Hot shots compete for bragging rights
[slideshow] Devin Tyler / Staff Writer Ten students tested their long-range shots in the basketball gymnasium for Del Mar College Intramural Hot Shot Basketball Contest on November 29th. The participation for the event was very successful with some students still wanting to partake in the event but unfortunately could not, due to late registration.

Garcia named to TASFAA Hall of Fame
Staff Reports / Foghorn With over thirty years of service to Del Mar College’s Financial Aid administration, Enrique “Henry” Garcia, Jr. has been inducted into the Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Hall of Fame. The annual TASFAA conference was held in Corpus Christi this past October. The honor was presented to Garcia after a presentation in which fellow members of the association shared comments of praise for the new inductee.
