With over thirty years of service to Del Mar College’s Financial Aid administration, Enrique “Henry” Garcia, Jr. has been inducted into the Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Hall of Fame.
The annual TASFAA conference was held in Corpus Christi this past October. The honor was presented to Garcia after a presentation in which fellow members of the association shared comments of praise for the new inductee. Linda Gonzalez-Hensgen of El Paso Community College delivered the presentation.
“In my professional life I have rarely seen the kind of commitment that this person demonstrates. His ability to stay abreast of the many federal and state legislative activities that impact financial aid is one that I greatly admire,” Gonzalez said in the presentation.
