A beautiful closure to trilogy

It has been five years since the sequel to “How to Train Your Dragon” came out, now the trilogy gets completed with “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.”

Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera and Gerard Butler return as the voice talents of Hiccup, Astrid and Stoick, respectively.

We rejoin Hiccup and everyone who lives on the island of Bark along with the dragons. The Vikings continue to rescue dragons and having them live in peace with each one another.

Sadly that is interrupted by Grimmel, voiced by F. Murray Abraham. Grimmel, a well-known nightfury slayer, who thought he has killed all of them until he hears about Toothless. Now he is trying to hunt down Toothless and wants to put an end to the people of Bark for rescuing dragons.

During their mission, Hiccup and Toothless find a lightfury. Hiccup notices she has caught the eye of Toothless and he wants him to be happy so he lets him free. But maybe that isn’t the best idea with Grimmel on the loose trying to slay Toothless and cause harm to the people of Bark.

It is a great family film and a joy to watch the way it all comes together in the end for everyone. The movie is a fascinating detail of work, along with the amazing voice talents that bring these characters to life.
