RTA adds campus route

Students needing a ride to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi can now get one — for free.

The Corpus Christi Regional Transit Authority this semester launched a new pilot service route. The direct route runs from the bus stop on Dicianna Drive at Del Mar College’s East Campus to A&M-CC’s bus stop.

“The Crosstown Shuttle, Route 66, is a Pilot Route, which means that it can be adjusted based on the needs of area students. We would appreciate any and all feedback from Vikings and Islanders alike,” said Rita Patrick, CCRTA marketing director. Please share your perspective with us by calling or e-mailing our customer service center. You can also reach out to us through social media.”

All students can ride the RTA for free with a student ID.
