The grand reopening of the Del Mar College Student Hub will be at noon Feb. 29 in the Coleman Student Center on West Campus. Formerly known as the Palmetto Room, the Student Hub will feature study rooms and will allow students to learn about the services and resources offered by the college. Del Mar College has been named a “Military Friendly School” for the fourth year in a row. The award is given out to the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace military students, and to dedicate resources to ensure their success in the classroom after graduation, according to Victory Media.
