Born and raised in a small town Poland, Ohio, Chisholm attended college at Mount Union where she graduated with in speech, drama and english with honors. “Some students have the opportunity for their parents to pay for them to go to school. Meningitis Vaccine legislation in effect at DMC

Jennifer Powell/ Staff Reporter Because of the requirements of Texas Senate Bill 1107, all new college students 29 and younger must show proof of having a meningitis at least 10 days before the first day of class. Students failing to do this may have holds placed on their records preventing them from attending classes until they are able to provide proof of receiving the vaccination to the Admissions Office. CCRTA says Vamonos

CCRTA is conducting an online survey to assess community opinions on present and future options for public transportation in Corpus Christi and surrounding service areas. This survey is in addition to the survey distributed on board CCRTA buses in late October and early November. Kelsey Heatley/ Web Editor GIS Technology Is Changing Our World The DMC GeoTech Center, Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi teamed up on November 16 for the 14th annual Geographic Information Systems GIS) day.  According to www.gis.com, a geographic information system integrates hardware, software and data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying forms of geographically referenced information. The free event was open to local schools, students, and residents interested in learning about GIS applications.
