The 3rd Annual High Heels for Hope Fashion Show will be taking place on November 9, 2011 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Mansion Royal in Corpus Christi. The fashion show is to benefit The Women’s Shelter of South Texas. There will be 7 boutiques and salons including Uptown Girl, Salon/Salon, and Levu and over 10 other businesses will be set-up to interact with guests. Roxanne Lopez with Malkan Interactive Communications is the coordinator for the event for the 2nd time. Lopez said, “I love working to do all that we can in helping the Women’s Shelter and spreading word of what their services provide for everyone in need of help. The High Heels for Hope Fashion Show is a fun way of increasing awareness for domestic violence. Come out to the event for a lot of fashion, glamour and excitement.” There will be donations accepted at the door that will go directly to the women’s shelter. Some events at the show will include a 52-card raffle and Sexiest Heel Contest. There will also be a guest speaker, Adela Garcia, from The Women’s Shelter. While you’re at the show you will be able to get your nails done by Southern Careers Institute cosmetologists and also have photos taken by Corpus Christi Photo Booth. Lopez encourages guests to come and have a night of fun and fashion to benefit an all around great cause.

The music also influenced her to audition as well. “I loved the songs ‘Babbling Brooke’ and ‘Story of the Phantom,’ and they are my second and third most-listened songs on Apple Music right now,”…
