The Corpus Christi Army Depot announced that it is accepting applications for its summer internship programs.
Internship positions are open to students who are enrolled in an accredited institution including four-year colleges/universities, community colleges and junior colleges; professional, technical, vocational and trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institutions pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate.

Del Mar College students in the fields of engineering, information technology, business management and financial management are strongly urged to apply. “The education and training that students receive at Del Mar College aligns itself closely with the needs of the Corpus Christi Army Depot,” said Israel Talamantez, human capital and business development specialist with CCAD. “When Del Mar College is well represented in our pool of intern applicants, we know that the pool is well rounded, representative of the community and poised for success.”
Even though these internships are for the summer only, the selected candidates will acquire an in depth understanding of CCAD and its contribution to the defense of our nation. Student interns will also gain highly coveted experience in their fields of study. Student who apply should read the announcements carefully and ensure that they answer all questions, as well as provide all necessary documentation to complete the application. The applications for the internships close on Feb. 29.

Some key aspects of the internships:
- RELOCATION AUTHORIZED: NO KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Personnel security investigation is required.
- Must complete a Pathways Participation Agreement form.
- Incumbent must remain in good academic standing while in the program.
- Housing and transportation expenses are not authorized.
- U.S. Citizenship is required or proof of legal residency.
- Transcripts are required with the current enrollment period course load.
