Wiffle Ball ended the intramural activities for this semester. The strong turnout for the baseball-like sport surprised Intramural Director Kristy Urbick as this was a new activity added this semester.

“I was very proud of the participation in intramurals this semester. Compared to last spring our attendance skyrocketed and I can’t wait to see new faces during the fall. I have a better knowledge of what sports are popular and I’m going to add volleyball and a couple other fun one-day sports to try and increase participation,” Urbick said.

The activity even brought out some newcomers. “I was just bored inside the harvin center and remembered that there’s a gym here so I came to shoot around but saw that people were playing wiffleball so I decided to join. It makes it very fun to play when everyone else is in a good mood and spreading good morale, I’m basically a newcomer here but I feel so welcomed so its nice that this is a friendly environment to be apart of,” said Michael DeLosSantos.

Intramurals will resume after the summer break.
