Fall Festival focuses on food, fun, family
Costume contest winners to get $50 Del Mar wants to help you get into the Halloween spirit at the annual Fall Festival on Oct 25. There will be food, fun, games and many family friendly activities. “The costume contest will be by age,” said Sonia Carreon, an administrative assistant with Student Leadership and Campus Life. “The winner of each will get a $50 prize.” The age groups will be 0-10, 11-17 and 18-plus. The Culinary Arts Program Offers Gourmet Lunch Services to the Public at Del Mar College’s Oso Creek Campus. Del Mar College’s Oso Creek Campus is offering a weekly lunch service to the public, prepared by students in the Culinary Arts Program. The service takes place every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the first floor of the Hospitality and Culinary Institute at the Oso Creek Campus.
