Safe Space to march in Pride Parade
Students interested in joining must sign waiver by Oct. 7 Del Mar’s Safe Space Club is set to take part in the annual Pride Parade this weekend, and students are welcome to join. The parade takes place Oct. 8 along the bayfront to commemorate LGBTQ+ History Month. “It is an opportunity to show support for the LGBTQ+ community, pay tribute to those individuals involved in the Stonewall Riots of 1969, and those who continue to do so,” said Sofia Jimenez with the Safe Space Club. City prepares to pick new mayor – again

Fifteen locations will be open through May 2 and Election Day is May 6. Mayoral candidates include Mark Di Carlo, Margareta Fratila, Jonathan Garison, James Hernandez, Ray Madrigal, Nelda Martinez, Joe McComb and Larry White.
