Geeks and Sneaks, Jayhawks set to meet up in championship match Eight teams battled it out for a shot at the 3v3 basketball championship. Games were adjusted to Monday and Wednesday to keep the gym open for recreational use on Tuesday and Thursday; nonetheless, there was still great participation and exciting matchups. Students give it their all on court
Students of all majors came together to compete against one another over four days in 5-on-5 basketball. Each day consisted of two teams made up of different students each time. In the final game the team sporting black jerseys faced off against the team wearing white jerseys. Unlike past semesters, teams were unnamed. Six teams entered but two dominated the whole thing. Every team had a minimum of six players on the field, having to win best out of three for six rounds. Every game had the crowd on their feet from the start, though some teams were favored to take it all, like team MOB, other teams like the Average Joes and Regulators made it difficult for them.
