The Del Mar College Student Art Association will be selling hand made crafts just in time for the holidays. The “Be-Bop-Bowl” is the club’s annual holiday fundraiser, where they will be selling affordable crafts on December 5 from 11:00am-2:30pm on the first floor of the Harvin Center. All of the earnings will go to support SAA projects such as community service, student art exhibitions and portfolio competition awards. If you know someone who enjoys hand crafted gifts swing by the “Be-Bop Bowl”.

LPA hosts their 50th anniversary with haunted court room at DMC
Halloween is fast approaching, but for the Legal Professions Association Club, it’s not the only special day this month. According to LPA Vice President Rebecca Farias, the club is celebrating Texas Paralegal Day by hosting a haunted courtroom fundraiser Oct. 23rd. “We’re going to be doing a haunted courtroom and a cotton candy fundraiser in the Harvin Center,” Farias said. New building set to open Spring 2020
The General Academic and Music Building Phase II was originally scheduled to open this fall semester. Offices and classrooms are set up in the new building, with minor construction details left to complete.
