86% say it would help them stay more engaged The majority of students who responded to a recent survey about on-campus housing support the idea, the Board of Regents heard at its November meeting. A total of 536 surveys were filled out before the Oct. 23 deadline, the Student Government Association said. Annual fundraiser moves online

Stringers for Scholarships meets its goal, but more donations encouraged Every year, Stringers for Scholarships gives the community a chance to help make a positive change in a student’s academic life by raising funds for scholarships.  With strict social distancing measures in place across the Coastal Bend because of COVID-19, the DMC Foundation this semester is instead hosting its annual fishing tournament as an online virtual fundraiser.
