Del Mar College West Campus offers free services by students for faculty, staff and students. Some services are even offered for the general public.

Until April 11, the dental students are offering dental exams with a $5 infection control fee. Students, staff teachers and the general public can make appointments. To schedule an appointment call 698-2854 or 698-2607. The exams take place in Room 125 in the Health and Science Building on West Campus.

Accounting students are providing free tax services every Tuesday and Thursday till April 11. This is offered to students, staff, teachers and the general public. To make an appointment for the free service or for more information about the program call 698-1372.

The basic-level students in the cosmetology program offer free haircuts to clients by appointment. The cosmetology program is also a participating salon for Locks of Love. The program is always taking donations for Locks of Love throughout the fall and spring semester. For more information or to make an appointment for a haircut contact cosmetology instructor Sandra Flinn at 698-1799.

The automotive students offer free services to the faculty, staff and students only until the end of the spring semester. The students will look at the vehicle and fix brakes and electrical problems, and diagnose the check engine light. Although the service is free, one must pay for the parts.
