With the new Pathway Internship, students are able to have the daily hands-on training that is required for coating metal to meet military aircraft needs. Climate change seen as increasing threat

The percentage of Americans who view climate change as a “serious threat” has been increasing since 1998, according to a recent Gallup poll. DMC awards Parent Academy students

4-week program honors parents’ accomplishments Maria Garza / Reporter The graduation ceremony and final session of the Parent Academy were held Oct. 13 in the White Library. Forty-one people, including parents and their children, participated in Del Mar College’s four-week Parent Academy. Participants were from Martin, Cunningham and South Park Middle Schools and Moody High School. The Parent Academy serves two purposes. Organizers familiarize and teach families about pursuing a post-secondary education. More than 60 students participate in 4-on-4 volleyball league Carlos E. Gonzalez / Reporter It was a wonderful turnout for the four-on-four co-ed volleyball league. The league was three weeks long and started Sept. 29. The matches had no time limit and the first team to win two of three matches and make it to 25 would be victorious. Not too late to join challenge

Rilwan Sanusi / Reporter With the 100-Mile Challenge in full swing, Intramurals director Ryan Murphy is excited about the number of participants in the challenge.
