The Vikings Alumni Association is holding an essay contest in relation to the Quality Enhancement Plan. Participants are to write a short essay explaining how Introductory Algebra concepts are useful to them or helped them in non-math classes.
The first-prize winner will receive $1,000, second will receive $500 and third will receive $250. All submissions should include the student’s full name, ID number and contact information (email address and telephone number). They must be written in English.
The submissions must be at least 300 words, and shouldn’t exceed 500 words. They may be submitted no later than Nov. 2 and should be emailed to QEP@delmar.edu.
